Desinfection air treatment

The presence of microbiological contamination in the air of an office or elsewhere is often undervalued. The contaminations can occur in different places but the air treatment (/air handling / air-conditioning) systems are the most common source for this pollution.

The filters in these systems mainly stop the larger particles from entering but they are not effective against micro-organisms. These moulds, fermentations and bacteria become active and multiply themselves in a moisture environment at moderate temperatures.

Because of the way the air treatment (/air handling/air-conditioning) systems operate the organisms will be spread throughout the building, allowing microbiological contaminations to develop in the air. As a result the risk for health complaints and absence through illness will increase significantly.

BioLab can free the air treatment (/air handling/air-conditioning) systems of bacteria by means of a disinfection treatment. For the disinfection we make use of KIWA-ATA certified desinfectans. After the treatment verification samples are taken to determine if the disinfection was indeed successful. Analysis of these samples will take place at an external accredited (independent) laboratory.
